Skipper Harmanpreet Singh netted both goals for India in the 30th and 33rd minutes, while Spain's captain Marc Miralles scored their sole goal from a penalty stroke in the 18th minute.
The win marks a fitting farewell for veteran goalkeeper PR Sreejesh, known as 'The Great Indian Wall of Indian hockey,' who concluded his illustrious 18-year career with this match. Germany is set to face the Netherlands in the final later today.
