Gaby Lewis secured her place among elite women's cricket players by scoring a scintillating 119 runs, joining a select group of only 11 female players worldwide with multiple T20I centuries. Her remarkable innings powered Ireland to a thrilling seven-run victory over Sri Lanka in Dublin on Tuesday.

Lewis, who previously made a century against Germany in 2021, delivered another masterful performance to help Ireland set a commanding total of 173/3 in their allotted overs. Despite resilient half-centuries from Sri Lanka’s Harshitha Samarawickrama (65) and an unbeaten 51 from Kavisha Dilhari, the visitors fell just short in their chase.

This achievement marked Ireland's first-ever T20I win over Sri Lanka and tied the series at 1-1, just before their three-match ODI series set to start in Belfast on Friday. Lewis’ innings was highlighted by 17 boundaries and 2 huge sixes, underlining her significant contribution to the historic win and her growing prominence in international cricket.
