Ajith V Kumar, Jai Bhagwan, and Arjun Rathi secured significant pay cheques as franchise owners spent Rs 16 crores on the second day of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Player Auction on Friday.

The day followed the high-stakes bidding war that saw Sachin Tanwar and Iran's Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh become the most expensive buys. Ajith, Bhagwan, Arjun, and Mohd Amaan emerged as the priciest players in Categories C and D.

Ajith was acquired by Puneri Paltan for Rs 66 lakh, while Jai Bhagwan went to Bengaluru Bulls for Rs 63 Lakh in Category C. In Category D, Arjun joined Bengal Warriorz for Rs 41 Lakh and Mohd Amaan found a spot in Puneri Paltan for Rs 16.2 lakh. U Mumba bought Stuwart Singh for Rs 14.2 lakh.
