Norwegian midfielder Sander Berge has officially joined Fulham on a five-year contract, transferring from second-tier side Burnley. The Premier League club announced the signing on Thursday, with British media reporting a transfer fee of around 20 million pounds ($26.24 million) plus add-ons for the 26-year-old player.

"It feels fantastic. It's been a little bit back and forth the last few weeks but I'm finally sitting here in the shirt in this beautiful stadium, knowing that my future is here, which feels great," commented Berge. He added, "The DNA of the club is to be dominant, aggressive, front-footed, and play nice football, and I think that suits me."

Berge joined Burnley in 2023 from Sheffield United, making 37 appearances last season but could not prevent the club from relegation. He has also played 46 matches for the Norway national team, scoring one goal.
