Tricky German Cup Draw for Bayern and Dortmund

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund face potentially challenging games against Bundesliga teams in the second round of the German Cup. Bayern will play Mainz, while Dortmund will visit Wolfsburg. Other notable matches include Leipzig vs. St. Pauli and Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have been drawn against fellow Bundesliga teams in what promised to be challenging second-round fixtures for the German Cup.

Bayern will travel to Mainz, while Dortmund is set for a tough match against Wolfsburg in games scheduled for Oct. 29 or 30.

Other notable all-Bundesliga clashes include Leipzig hosting the newly promoted St. Pauli and Eintracht Frankfurt facing Borussia Moenchengladbach. Last season's double-winners Bayer Leverkusen will host second-division Elversberg, the team that eliminated them in the first round in 2022.
