Enzo Maresca, Chelsea's new manager, is concentrating on the field despite reports of a power struggle among the club's owners.
Maresca confirmed he's been in discussions with both Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali since the season began, amid speculations of ownership factions intending to buy each other out.
"My focus is about the pitch because it's the only thing I can control," the Italian manager stated ahead of the team's trip to Bournemouth. Since a consortium led by Boehly and Clearlake Capital acquired the club from Roman Abramovich for $3.2 billion, the ownership dynamics have been hectic. The club has spent $1.3 billion on new players but with minimal success.
Most recently, Chelsea acquired Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on a one-year loan. Despite ongoing turbulence, Maresca remains committed to focusing on the upcoming games.
