U Mumba has launched a rigorous 40-day training camp at the Wyndham Hotel and Club O7 in Ahmedabad, aiming to fine-tune their squad for Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11. The session, led by head coach Gholamreza Mazandarani and Assistant Coach Anil Chaprana, focuses on blending youthful talent with experienced players for peak performance.

Season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League kicks off on October 18 in Hyderabad, where U Mumba will face Dabang Delhi in their opening match. To maximize their readiness, the training camp will strengthen the team’s tactical understanding and cohesion, particularly in defense, highlighting the strong bond between Sunil Kumar and Parvesh Bhainswal along with U Mumba mainstay Rinku.

CEO Suhail Chandhok expressed his satisfaction with the balanced squad assembled during the Auction, emphasizing that the pre-season camp is crucial for the team’s success. The support staff, including physios, masseurs, and a strength and conditioning coach, bring top-notch expertise. The team has set high expectations with record signings like Sunil Kumar and retained key players, aiming for a strong season ahead.
