India delivered an extraordinary performance against Bangladesh in the second Test, taking a 52-run first-innings lead with T20-style batting. The hosts declared their second innings at 285 for nine, setting a record for the fastest team scores. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja showcased their skills both with bat and ball.
In a bid to force a result within the limited time available, India displayed a sensational T20-style cricket, taking a 52-run first-innings lead against Bangladesh in the second Test on Monday.
After losing eight sessions due to rain, India had six sessions to force a win. The hosts did everything they could on the fourth day of the match, despite the pitch offering little assistance to their bowlers.
India unleashed their batting might, striking at 8.22 runs per over, setting records for fastest team 50, 100, and 200 runs in Test cricket. At stumps, Bangladesh were 26 for two, trailing India by 26 runs.
