Rocky Flintoff Joins England Lions for Australian Tour
Rocky Flintoff, son of ex-England cricketer Andrew Flintoff, has been selected for the England Lions squad for an upcoming tour in Australia. Rocky, who signed his first pro contract with Lancashire, was late to join the squad initially in South Africa. The team includes several senior players.
Rocky Flintoff, the teenage son of former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff, has been selected for the England Lions squad slated to tour Australia in January. The promising youngster recently signed his first professional contract with Lancashire earlier this year.
Flintoff received a last-minute call to join the Lions' South Africa tour, marking Andrew Flintoff's inaugural trip as head coach since his appointment in September.
Accompanying Flintoff in the squad are five seasoned players such as Shoaib Bashir, Pat Brown, Tom Hartley, Josh Tongue, and John Turner. The team will compete in two four-day games against a Cricket Australia XI in Brisbane, followed by a first-class match against Australia A in Sydney.
