The Services team continued its unparalleled dominance at the National Games by topping the medal tally at the 38th edition in Uttarakhand. This marks their fifth triumph in the last six editions. Despite a subdued final day, Services managed to claim nine more medals, bringing their total to 121, including 68 golds.

Although Maharashtra clinched more overall medals with a total of 198, the count of gold medals, just 54, saw them placed second. Haryana also outperformed in terms of aggregate medals but landed in third due to their 48 gold medals compared to Services. As the Games wrapped up, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh secured fourth and fifth positions respectively.

The closing ceremony in Haldwani, attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, capped off the event. Highlights included Haryana's victory in women's hockey, Maharashtra's table tennis successes, and strong performances in gymnastics, with Yogeshwar Singh and West Bengal's Ritu Das earning top honors. Services clinched gold in the men's K-4 500m kayaking event, underscoring their athletic prowess.
