Former cricketer Harbhajan Singh has shed light on India's prospects in the forthcoming Champions Trophy, underscoring the void left by their pace spearhead, Jasprit Bumrah. Despite the notable absence, team India, fresh off a convincing 3-0 ODI series whitewash over England, exhibits confidence as they head into the tournament.

The BCCI recently confirmed that India will compete without Bumrah, termed their "national treasure," owing to a persisting lower back injury. The nature of the competition poses a serious test for the Indian squad, yet Harbhajan believes the considerable depth and experience in their pace arsenal will suffice.

Among the squad, fast bowlers like Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh are expected to rise to the occasion, offsetting the loss. India's batting lineup, reinvigorated with stellar performances from Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and others, further boosts their chances. India's campaign will commence against Bangladesh on February 20 in Dubai.
