LIV Golf has established a long-term presence in Australia, as Adelaide will host its tournament until 2031. This decision comes despite increasing speculation surrounding the potential reunification of the PGA and LIV tours. Sunday's announcement highlights LIV's intent to remain a strong player in world golf, amidst PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan meeting President Donald Trump recently.

'There's no place we'd rather be than right here in Adelaide,' stated LIV Golf CEO Scott O'Neil during Sunday's final round at The Grange Golf Club, marking a significant event in the league's brief history. Initially set to end in 2026, Adelaide's contract extension follows impressive attendance figures, with around 100,000 fans attending annually.

Government officials announced plans to transition the event to a newly redeveloped course in the city, designed by former LIV Golf chief Greg Norman. Norman will spearhead the redesign of North Adelaide Golf Course, situated in the city's central business district. Premier Peter Malinauskas confirmed that the new course would host the tournament until 2031.
