World-renowned Paralympic athlete Vanessa Low is set to captivate audiences once again at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix commencing on Tuesday in New Delhi. Low, celebrated for her exceptional accomplishments in the long jump T63 event, holds multiple gold medals from the Rio, Tokyo, and Paris Paralympic Games.

The 34-year-old athlete will join 250 competitors, including a formidable Indian contingent of 150 participants. In a landmark moment for Indian para-athletics, the event will showcase remarkable talents like Praveen Kumar, Navdeep, and Dharambir, all Paris 2024 gold medalists, to a local crowd at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

The Grand Prix will feature over 90 exciting competitions, drawing elite para-athletes from more than 20 nations, including Saudi Arabia, Germany, and Kazakhstan. As a significant preparatory event, it will set the stage for global championships later this year, highlighting both resilience and exceptional athletic prowess.
