Saudi Clubs Dominate: Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli Advance in Asian Champions League

In a stunning display, Al-Hilal thrashed Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor 4-0 on Tuesday, overturning a first-leg deficit to secure their spot in the quarter-finals of the Asian Champions League. The Saudi squad, joined by compatriots Al-Ahli, advances to the next phase.

Riyad Mahrez proved pivotal for Al-Ahli, scoring two late game goals against Qatar's Al-Rayyan, clinching a 2-0 win in Jeddah and a 5-1 overall victory. Al-Hilal rebounded from a previous 1-0 loss, dominating with a 4-1 aggregate win over Pakhtakor.

With decisive plays, including a penalty goal by Salem Al-Dawsari and a late strike by Nasser Al-Dawsari, Al-Hilal triumphed. The victories place all three Saudi clubs in the quarter-final draw, with participating teams competing in Jeddah from April 25 to May 3.
