The Cricket Academy of Pathans (CAP) marked a new chapter with the opening of its Bhilwara center, located at Noble International School, inaugurated by cricket icon Yusuf Pathan. As the academy's director, Pathan's presence energized the crowd and inspired aspiring cricketers in the region with his stories and experiences.
The academy is focused on fostering local talent, aiming to develop a pipeline of future cricket stars. According to Harmeet Vasdev, the Managing Director of CAP, they have already trained over 15,000 students at more than 35 centres nationwide, utilizing sophisticated facilities and methodologies.
Notably, many CAP-trained cricketers have excelled in prestigious tournaments such as the Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy. The Bhilwara center will feature state-of-the-art technology like Stance Beam for real-time performance feedback. CAP aims to open 25 additional centres in tier 2 and tier 3 cities soon, signaling continued growth in nurturing India's cricketing talent.
