Bhukya Yashwanth, a promising young mountaineer from Telangana, reached another milestone by summiting 'Phawngpui', the highest peak in Mizoram, on Friday. This ascent is part of his ambitious campaign, 'Har Shikhar Par Tiranga', aiming to inspire Indian youths against drug abuse and the allure of betting apps.
Phawngpui, also known as Blue Mountain, stands at about 2,157 meters and is a renowned peak in Mizoram's southern Lawngtlai district. Now a National Park, it hosts diverse flora and fauna. Yashwanth's efforts are not limited to Mizoram; he has previously conquered the highest peaks in four other states, including Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Manipur, and Rajasthan, where he proudly unfurled the Indian flag.
The 20-year-old from Mahabubabad highlights the symbolic message of his climbs, advocating a life committed to goals and discipline over transient indulgences. With plans to summit the highest peaks in all 28 Indian states, Yashwanth is set on urging the youth of Mizoram and beyond to choose dreams over addiction, making a lasting impact.
