After a six-year hiatus, the 31st edition of the Thane Municipal Corporation Marathon anticipates more than 25,000 participants this Sunday, August 10. This much-awaited event will begin at 6:30 am, originating from the TMC headquarters square, according to additional commissioner Sandeep Malvi.
Featuring 12 distinct categories, the marathon includes distances of 21 km, 10 km, 5 km, 3 km, and a special 1 km event tailored for particular needs. This year's diverse offering aims to accommodate runners of various preferences and capabilities.
To ensure smooth accessibility for participants, a special local train service will be operational, facilitating travel from Badlapur to Thane. This provision reflects the organizers' commitment to enhancing convenience for all involved in this celebrated athletic event.
