India Shines in Asian Shooting Championship with Double Podium Finish

India achieved a remarkable feat at the Asian Shooting Championship, with Mansi Raghuwanshi clinching gold and Yashasvi Rathore securing bronze in the women's junior skeet competition. Raghuwanshi shot 53 in the final to secure the top spot, while Rathore followed closely with a score of 52, edging out Kazakhstan's Lidiya Basharova, who managed 40.
Agrima Kanwar, the other Indian contender, finished in sixth place in the final. Raghuwanshi entered the final after ranking second in the qualifications with a total score of 106 across five rounds. Basharova had initially led the qualifications with a tally of 112.
In the men's junior skeet category, Ishaan Singh Libra, Harmehar Singh Lally, and Jyotiraditya Singh Sisodiya have qualified for the finals, securing first, third, and fifth places, respectively, showcasing India's strong presence in the sport.
