Jharkhand Gears Up for 4th SAAF Senior Athletics Championships 2025

Jharkhand is gearing up to host the 4th South Asian Senior Athletics Championships 2025, as Chief Minister Hemant Soren emphasizes the importance of showcasing the state's sporting prowess. Directed by Soren, officials are meticulously planning the event to ensure its smooth execution.

This prestigious international athletics event, held at the Birsa Munda Football Stadium in Ranchi from October 24-26, represents a significant milestone for Jharkhand. The championships will see participation from approximately 205 athletes and 150 technical staff from six countries, including India. State officials, including Tourism, Sports, and Youth Affairs Minister Sudivya Kumar, briefed the Chief Minister on the preparations.
