This prestigious international athletics event, held at the Birsa Munda Football Stadium in Ranchi from October 24-26, represents a significant milestone for Jharkhand. The Chief Minister has expressed that hosting such an event is a source of immense pride for the state and highlights Jharkhand's potential as a sporting hub on the global stage.
The championships will see participation from approximately 205 athletes and 150 technical staff from six countries, including India. State officials, including Tourism, Sports, and Youth Affairs Minister Sudivya Kumar, briefed the Chief Minister on the preparations. The event promises to establish Jharkhand's unique identity in the international sports arena.
