Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime secured a spot in the ATP Finals semi-finals with a 6-4, 7-6(4) win over Germany’s Alexander Zverev on Friday. This pivotal round-robin victory placed him against world number one Carlos Alcaraz in the next challenge.

In their tense battle, Zverev had several opportunities but failed to convert seven break points against Sinner. Similarly, against Auger-Aliassime, Zverev couldn’t capitalize on key moments, allowing the Canadian to break at crucial times, leading to his eventual advancement.

Meanwhile, Italy’s Jannik Sinner continued his dominance on indoor hardcourt, marking 29 consecutive wins with a 6-3, 7-6(3) victory over Ben Shelton. Despite having already secured the top group spot, Sinner performed with ease, eyeing the final showdown against Alex de Minaur.
