J C D Prabhakar, a prominent member of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party, has formally submitted his nomination for the prestigious role of Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker.
He was accompanied by TVK founder and Chief Minister, C Joseph Vijay, underscoring the party's dedication to leadership unity and governance excellence.
At 73, representing the Thousand Lights Assembly in Chennai, Prabhakar is expected to secure the position unopposed. Simultaneously, M Ravisankar, the TVK MLA from Thuraiyur, has been nominated for Deputy Speaker, emphasizing the party's promising leadership trajectory in the state legislative process.
