In a commanding performance at Seddon Park, New Zealand clinched a comprehensive four-wicket win over the West Indies, completing a 3-0 clean sweep in the ODI series. The Black Caps' strategical prowess was on full display as they dominated the Caribbean side.

The West Indies struggled to find their footing after opting to bat, collapsing to 161 all out in just over 36 overs. Despite Roston Chase's top score of 38, and contributions from John Campbell and Khary Pierre, the Windies lineup fell prey to New Zealand's bowling attack. With Matt Henry leading the charge, taking an impressive four wickets for 43 runs, supported ably by Jacob Duffy and Mitchell Santner's two wickets each, the Black Caps' bowlers restricted their opponents effectively.

New Zealand's chase of 162 was steered by middle-order batsmen Mark Chapman and Michael Bracewell, who scored 64 and an unbeaten 40 respectively, overcoming a shaky start by the openers. The victory capped off a successful white-ball campaign, following a 3-1 victory in the T20I series. The two sides will soon shift their focus to the upcoming Test series, commencing on December 2 in Christchurch, as part of the ICC World Test Championship cycle.
