The Indian women's cricket team is gearing up for an intense showdown against Sri Lanka in an upcoming five-match T20I series, scheduled to take place from December 21 to 30.

Set across the venues of Visakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram, the contest comes in the wake of a delayed series against Bangladesh, shelved due to regional political tensions.
