Sebastien Ogier, teaming up with Toyota, has etched his name in rally history once again by clinching his ninth world title, tying the legendary Sebastien Loeb. This victory not only cements his legacy but also makes him the oldest champion at the age of 41.

Ogier's remarkable career saw success with Volkswagen, Ford, and Toyota, showcasing his adaptability. Although he retired from full-time rallying in 2021, his part-time commitment and strategic victories in six of 14 rounds secured his latest title. Ogier's co-driver, Vincent Landais, also celebrated his first title win.

The rally, held in Saudi Arabia, marked its debut on the world championship calendar and highlighted the global spread of the sport. Meanwhile, Hyundai's Thierry Neuville claimed victory in the event, adding another layer to the thrilling narrative that unfolded this season.
