The Centre of Excellence (CoE) has given Gill the green signal to participate in the highly anticipated five-match series. Gill, India's Test and ODI captain, had previously injured his neck while executing a sweep shot during the first Test against South Africa, sidelining him from subsequent matches.
Enthusiastic about his comeback, Gill expressed his readiness and excitement to bcci.tv, acknowledging the intense skill training and physical conditioning he endured.
