The senior BJP member intended to evaluate damages inflicted upon the public venue amid the frenzy caused by disappointed fans unable to see their hero due to security mishandlings.

Expressing his displeasure, Adhikari held the organizers and state officials accountable, alleging corruption and demanding ministerial arrests. Consequent to the backlash, the West Bengal government has initiated actions including suspension of police officers and a ministerial resignation.
