The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Vice President Rajeev Shukla announced a review of upcoming cricket match schedules following the cancellation of the fourth T20I between India and South Africa due to heavy fog in Lucknow.

This match was part of a five-game series where India currently leads 2-1. The BCCI's evaluation will focus on games planned between December 15 and January 15, traditionally within North India, to consider relocating fixtures to South or West India to avoid weather-related disruptions.

Interviewer Congress MP Shashi Tharoor humorously suggested moving matches to Kerala. This scheduling window also includes the Vijay Hazare Trophy and an ODI series against New Zealand featuring top players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
