UP Prometheans has been announced as the newest entrant in the franchise-based Shooting League of India (SLI), with the inaugural season scheduled for February 16-26 next year.
The franchise is backed by Prometheus, a Noida-based school, bringing both educational and developmental values to the league.
The SLI will showcase top-tier Indian and international marksmen in a mixed-team format, competing across pistol, rifle, and shotgun disciplines. The league will include categories such as pistol, rifle, and shotgun, with teams placed in two pools before advancing to knockout stages. Players will be selected from four distinctive tiers, providing a blend of international stars and talented young Indian shooters.
