In a stunning showcase of talent, Georgia's Anastasiia Metelkina and Luka Berulava clinched their first European Figure Skating Championship title, taking advantage of multiple errors by Germany's Minerva Fabienne Hase and Nikita Volodin.
Delivering an impeccable free skate, Metelkina and Berulava secured victory with a programme score of 139.80. In contrast, their German rivals suffered critical falls, relegating them to second place.
In singles, Georgia's Nika Egadze impressed with his short programme, leading the pack ahead of the Milano Cortina Olympics. Italian Matteo Rizzo also made waves, striving for a spot on Italy's Olympic team.
