Indian squash player Veer Chotrani fought hard in the Squash in the Land 2026 quarterfinals in Cleveland, but ultimately lost to Mexican second seed Leonel Cardenas. Despite being his first PSA Silver-level quarterfinal, Chotrani pushed Cardenas, ranked 13th in the world, to his limits in a challenging match.

Indian squash talent Veer Chotrani displayed exceptional skill and tenacity in the Squash in the Land 2026 quarterfinals in Cleveland, facing off against the formidable Mexican second seed, Leonel Cardenas.
Participating in his inaugural PSA Silver-level quarterfinal, the world No. 52 Chotrani increased the stakes in the second and third games, challenging world No. 13 Cardenas with a more aggressive play style.
Despite applying pressure multiple times throughout the match, Chotrani was narrowly edged out with final scores of 11-3, 11-7, 11-8, as Cardenas, showing impressive resolve, advanced to the next stage of the tournament.
