The ETPL, a globally recognized, multi-country franchise league sanctioned by the ICC, is backed by the cricket boards of the Netherlands, Ireland, and Scotland. The league promises an exciting six-team contest featuring 34 matches beginning in the late summer of 2026.
Franchises will be based in Amsterdam, Edinburgh, and Belfast. Amsterdam is led by a group including Australian cricket legend Waugh and former hockey captain Jamie Dwyer. In Edinburgh, former New Zealand internationals Nathan McCullum and Kyle Mills take the helm. In Belfast, the dynamic Glenn Maxwell teams up with Rohan Lund, enriching the league's diversity and reach.
