In a significant move, Mizoram's Sports and Youth Services Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar has unveiled plans to boost sports infrastructure across the state. Leading the charge is a dedicated indoor volleyball hall among the key projects prioritized by the government.
During the closing ceremony of the first D-3 Inter-College Volleyball tournament held in Aizawl, Hmar elaborated on the massive efforts being made to support the sports sector, with particular attention to the long-standing demand for a unique volleyball facility, as highlighted by an official statement released on Sunday.
Further projecting his vision for the youth, Hmar emphasized the need to evade social issues like drug abuse. Encouraging young Mizo individuals to focus on family building, he advocated raising at least three children each to ensure the sustainability of the Mizo community and contribute to national growth.
