ICC Arranges Emergency Charter Flights Amid Airspace Disruption

England, South Africa, and West Indies cricket teams are set to depart India on chartered flights due to air travel disruptions from US, Israel, and Iran conflicts. In a response to the ongoing air travel disruptions caused by conflicts involving the US, Israel, and Iran, the ICC has arranged chartered flights to facilitate the departure of the England, South Africa, and West Indies cricket teams from India.

England, having competed unsuccessfully against India in the semifinals, will leave Mumbai for London on Saturday. Meanwhile, South Africa and West Indies, whose World Cup campaigns have concluded, will depart together on a shared flight from Kolkata, initially heading to Johannesburg before the West Indies team continues to Antigua.

The Cricket West Indies confirmed the arrangements after extensive discussions with the ICC and other stakeholders. The situation remains fluid, with airspace restrictions in place, but all precautions are being taken to ensure the teams' safe return.
