Tragedy Strikes During Cricket Celebration in Bihar

A teenager named Kundan Kumar was beaten to death by his friend Kishan Kumar during a dispute while watching the ICC T20 World Cup final in Bihar. This tragic incident occurred in Jakkopur village, prompting police to launch an investigation. Eyewitnesses reported that an argument over celebrations led to the fatal assault.

A teenager in Bihar's Vaishali district was tragically beaten to death by a friend during a dispute over cricket celebrations, according to police. The incident took place Sunday evening while Kundan Kumar and his friend Kishan Kumar were watching the ICC T20 World Cup final on a mobile phone.

Vaishali SP Vikram Sihag disclosed that the death resulted from a scuffle between the friends, who were joined by others. Eyewitnesses indicated that their dispute stemmed from shouting during the India-New Zealand match. Kishan reportedly slammed Kundan to the ground, inflicting severe head injuries.

Kundan was initially treated at Mahnar Community Health Centre before being transferred to Hajipur Sadar Hospital and later Patna Medical College Hospital. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries en route. Authorities have identified the accused and are actively conducting raids to apprehend him.
