Paralympic champion Krishna Nagar showcased a scintillating performance, securing two gold medals at the 7th Senior National Para Badminton Championship in the SH6 category. On Tuesday, Nagar clinched the men's singles title by defeating Sudarsan M S with a decisive 21-10, 21-19 victory.
Demonstrating powerful attacking play and remarkable composure, Nagar confirmed his top seed status and claimed the national crown. He, along with partner Nithya Sre Sumathy Sivan, also captured the mixed doubles SH6 title, defeating Sudarsan M S and Shreya Kumari 21-7, 21-11.
The SH6 classification in para-badminton is for players with short stature, typically due to conditions such as dwarfism. Nagar's double gold medal win solidifies his dominant position in Indian para-badminton.
