Lungi Ngidi Reassures Fans After Head Injury Scare in IPL Clash
Lungi Ngidi, South African pacer, eased fans' concerns declaring he's okay after a head injury during the IPL match between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings. Ngidi thanked fans for their support via Instagram, following his discharge from the hospital after the on-field mishap at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
South African fast bowler Lungi Ngidi has calmed the nerves of cricket fans by announcing that he is "all good" after a recent head injury during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). The incident occurred on a Saturday afternoon game, causing fans to worry.
Ngidi expressed gratitude towards his supporters through his Instagram post, which came after he was discharged from a hospital in Delhi. The pacer had suffered a troubling fall on his head and neck during the match, against PBKS, held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
The DC team felt Ngidi's absence acutely during the game, losing to PBKS, partly due to KL Rahul's unbeaten 152 run and a massive 126-run partnership between Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya. Ngidi's injury occurred in the third over of PBKS's innings, during an attempted catch off Axar Patel's bowling.
