An Indian Army soldier from Rajasthan has claimed a significant achievement in endurance cycling. Balveer, 26, currently a part of the 11 Mechanised Unit, says he completed an arduous 859-kilometer journey from Srinagar to Delhi in just over 50 hours. The remarkable journey, pending verification, could earn recognition from the International Book of Records.
Beginning his solo journey from Srinagar's Lal Chowk and concluding at Delhi's iconic Red Fort, Balveer faced both challenging hilly terrains and flat plains. He emphasizes the critical role of support from his crew, noting that the feat was achieved through sheer discipline and determination.
Seeking to have his accomplishment officially recognized, Balveer mentions the processes in place for data verification through an application. The journey stands as a testament to human endurance and the spirit of adventure.
