In a bid to strengthen India's military prowess, the top commanders of the Indian Army convened in New Delhi to conduct a thorough review of the nation's security challenges along its borders with China and Pakistan.

The conference stressed the importance of lessons learned from Operation Sindoor, leading to a focus on enhancing combat capabilities through networking, data-centric strategies, and the use of advanced technologies such as Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). The Army aims to achieve this transformation by the year 2026, which has been designated as the 'Year of Networking and Data Centricity'.

This gathering, chaired by Army Chief Gen Upendra Dwivedi, was augmented by key government figures, highlighting the urgent need to fast-track indigenous military production to fortify self-reliance in defense and safeguard India's strategic interests amidst global supply chain uncertainties.
