Singh won the men's 50m rifle 3-positions, while Haryana excelled in the 10m air pistol mixed team category, setting new triumphs in the shooting competition.
Army shooter Ganga Singh achieved gold in the men's 50m rifle 3-positions at the 24th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship, posting an impressive score of 357.8 in the final. His closest competitor, Arjun Babuta from Railways, secured silver with 356.9, followed by Swapnil Kusale, who clinched bronze with 343.7.
In an exhilarating 10m air pistol mixed team event, Haryana's Kamaljeet Choudhary and Surbhi Rao dominated, securing the title with a final score of 476.6 after qualifying with 576 points. Karnataka's Mamith N Gowda and Divya T S finished with silver, and ONGC's Amanpreet Singh and Shweta Singh took home bronze.
The junior events witnessed impressive performances, with Adriyan Karmakar from West Bengal securing gold in the junior men's 50m rifle 3-positions. Rajasthan's Yogesh and Mohini also excelled in the junior 10m air pistol mixed team event, achieving top marks to claim first place, showcasing promising talent for future competitions.
