The triumph, marking City's second league title with the first in 2016, comes under the new leadership of Swedish coach Andrée Jeglertz. Jeglertz joined City from Denmark's national team and achieved this milestone in his debut season.
With one game remaining, City is comfortably six points clear of second-place Chelsea. Arsenal, in third, trails by 10 points with three matches left in their schedule.
