With decisive performances from team members, Phantom Stars showcased dominance throughout the tournament, ultimately winning the Grand Final 14-8. The league, promoting grassroots talent, concluded with several standout individual performances.
In a thrilling conclusion to the TTSL Maharashtra 2026 tournament, Phantom Stars, spearheaded by Commonwealth Games medalist Sanil Shetty, successfully defended their title against Bayside Spinners TTC. The final, held at Khar Gymkhana, saw the Stars clinch a 14-8 victory, led by Shetty's commanding 3-0 win over Jash Modi in the men's singles.
Shetty later teamed with Shruti Amrute for a crucial mixed doubles triumph, contributing to their decisive win. Owned by Rajesh Jaggi and Antara Jaggi, the Stars secured their victory with a match to spare, bolstered by key successes in other fixtures. TTSL, an 11 Sports Private Ltd initiative, aims to nurture grassroots talent across India.
Earlier, Phantom Stars edged past Mumbai Mozartt in the semi-finals courtesy of veteran Onkar Jog's win. Meanwhile, Bayside Spinners reached their first final by defeating Century Warriors, thanks to stellar performances by Senhora D'souza and Parth Magar. Despite a strong start, the Spinners faltered as Stars surged ahead for victory.
