Shardul Thakur made a striking impact with his bowling, securing figures of 4 for 39, yet the Punjab Kings posted an imposing total of 200 for 8 in their IPL match against the Mumbai Indians on Thursday.
Prabhsimran Singh emerged as the top-scorer for Punjab, delivering a swift 57 from 32 balls, while Azmatullah Omarzai contributed a rapid 38 off 17 deliveries.
Despite efforts from Deepak Chahar, Corbin Bosch, and Raj Bawa, who also took wickets, Mumbai Indians were unable to mount a successful chase and remain out of play-off contention this season.
