Elsewhere, Reyaansh Venkat clinched a win against Samarth Patkar, keeping him among the leaders. Similarly, Kush Ajay Agarwal and AGM Rajveer Pinkesh Nahar both registered impressive wins over their respective opponents.
The competition saw other thrilling encounters; Janhavi Soneji and Ashish Jain Tvesha ended in a well-fought draw, while Om Nilesh Deorukhakar edged out Soham Sudarshan Sahamate in a tight match. Manya Balani stood out with her victory over Ved Ambre, highlighting the round's notable upsets.
