Son Heung-min's World Cup Focus: Team Before Goals

South Korea's national team captain, Son Heung-min, is unfazed by his current goal-scoring struggles in Major League Soccer as he prepares for the World Cup. Despite not finding the net for Los Angeles FC, Son remains confident in his ability to deliver when it matters most.

In a conversation with the Yonhap News Agency, Son expressed, 'A lot of people are worried, but I'm only worried if I am not playing well.' He emphasized his physical wellbeing and hinted in jest that he might be 'saving goals for the World Cup.'

With a potential record as South Korea's top scorer in reach, Son insists his focus will remain on the team's collective success, as the Taegeuk Warriors gear up for their campaign opener against the Czech Republic on June 11 in Guadalajara.
