Memphis Depay has made a timely return from injury, allowing the Netherlands' coach Ronald Koeman to include him in the final squad for the upcoming World Cup. This selection comes after Depay recently returned to play for his Brazilian team, Corinthians, following recovery from a thigh injury.

Justin Kluivert and Jurrien Timber also make the team after recovering from injuries. The squad includes some surprising choices with the debut of West Ham's Crysencio Summerville, while Jeremie Frimpong has been omitted due to frequent injuries. The Dutch side will commence their campaign in Dallas against Japan, aiming for their first world title.
