Mandaviya to Launch Major Sports Complex During Meghalaya Tour

Mansukh Mandaviya is set to open an integrated indoor sports complex during his three-day visit to Meghalaya, aimed at preparing the state for the upcoming National Games. The complex, a vital infrastructure piece, signals a major development in the region's sports facilities.
Apart from the opening ceremony, Mandaviya will engage in a variety of events focused on enhancing youth affairs and advancing sports infrastructure. Together with Conrad K Sangma, he will officiate the inauguration and sign the host state contract for the National Games 2026, alongside the Indian Olympic Association representatives.
Mandaviya will also assess the impact of centrally funded programs in the district of Ri-Bhoi, emphasizing the government’s dedication to the holistic growth of the northeastern states.
