Naomi Osaka, the former world number one, showcased not only her tennis prowess but also her fashion flair at the French Open. On Thursday, she secured a hard-fought victory over Croatia's Donna Vekic in a 7-6(1), 6-4 match, proceeding to the tournament's third round.

Osaka, donned in a white floor-length flared train, captivated audiences with her striking ensemble reminiscent of her first-round attire. The intense match saw the Japanese athlete engaging in a series of breaks with Vekic on Court Simonne Mathieu, ultimately seizing control during a dominant tiebreak.

Despite Vekic's strategic drop shots in the second set, Osaka's tenacity shone through as she clinched the win in an hour and 50 minutes. She now prepares to face 16th seed Iva Jovic, who defeated Emma Navarro earlier, marking Osaka's first third-round appearance since 2019.
