Nipam made a striking entry onto the international stage by capturing the 100m bronze medal at the U20 Asian Athletics Championships. Despite a sluggish start, she sprang back, finishing with a time of 11.62 seconds.
The 18-year-old from Uttar Pradesh, holding a national U20 record of 11.53 seconds, expressed her thrill at earning the bronze medal and is optimistic about further success with her relay team. Dana Noor Salem from Qatar claimed the gold with a time of 11.47 seconds, while China's Xinxuan Chen secured silver with 11.54 seconds.
