Marcel Sabitzer emerged as the hero for Austria, scoring a crucial second-half goal to secure a 1-0 victory over Tunisia in a World Cup preparatory match. The match, held at the Ernst Happel Stadium, saw Austria overcoming adversity after Konrad Laimer was sent off in the first half.

Despite being a player down, Austria showcased resilience, as Tunisia failed to capitalize on their opportunities, striking the goal's frame thrice. Sabitzer's goal, however, broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute, thanks to an assist from Stefan Posch from the right flank.

Tunisia, equally eager to sharpen their skills ahead of the World Cup, will face Belgium next. Meanwhile, Austria's intense preparation will continue as they gear up for their opening match against Jordan in the tournament.
