Australia's cricket sensation Ellyse Perry is on the verge of making history as she approaches her 50th appearance in the Women's T20 World Cup. Set to play against South Africa in Manchester on June 13, Perry's participation marks a significant milestone in her illustrious career, having featured in every Australian squad since the first tournament in 2009.

Australia has revealed a largely consistent lineup for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 in England. Despite Perry's notable presence, the squad sees the exclusion of pacer Darcie Brown. Known for her impressive 34 T20I wickets in 41 matches, Brown's omission is a strategic move by selectors who have chosen the inexperienced Lucy Hamilton in her place.

The team boasts seasoned players like Beth Mooney, Ash Gardner, Tahlia McGrath, and Megan Schutt, alongside promising talent such as Phoebe Litchfield and Georgia Voll. Australia, a part of Group 1, will face South Africa, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands in their quest for a seventh championship title.
